Two places at once

Let's recap: playing Costard in Love's Labours Lost. Running Anachronism and Call of Cthulhu tournaments. Writing scripts for the H-Troupe. Working at Finders. Visited Chicago (illimitable thanks to John, Tracy, and Brad). Applied for a job in Chicago. Found an apartment in Chicago, and the lease starts in July. Two rents in one month? Ow.

So much for kicking back after finishing grad school.

To be honest, though, there isn't that panicky feeling of being overworked. Just its less worrisome cousin, the hunt for monetary income. At least I have time to game and read. A lot.

And with that time has come the idea to re-organize the Hub. I've got some time, and I need to keep with varied writing projects.... So, mehtinks it is time to give each blog a dedicated day. Four sites, every other day... yeah, it's do-able. I think I'm going to leave the VPA War Council on hiatus; I just haven't had the opportunity to play and invest in 40K right now.

That's all for now. More, soon.

And... Scene.

Huzzah. I am done. Thesis turned in, signatures acquired, sleep had.

For a present to the self, I picked up Risk: Godstorm. It's a lot of fun. And a bunch of the Call of Cthulhu CCG. Yay, games.

Other than that, I'm still feeling a little worn out. Tony and I have been talking about Samizdat podcasts, I've started working on H-Troupe scripts, and Steph and I are looking to Chicago next week.

Oh, and pick up the new Dresden Dolls CD. Brilliant.
