Seriously.

Sometimes it's only the wisdom of the Homestar Runner that makes sense.

Anyway. It's been a very, very long month. It's been an even longer week. I apologize for my absence in, well, everything... but things happened. At the same time, my good chum, Jeff Voigt, is now a husband. I hope that I performed the role of Best Man to his and Danielle's expectations.

And to everyone who I've talked to in the last couple weeks, I thank you. In a world where one of my professors is presenting a paper on the performance of sincerity, I sincerely thank everyone who I consider a friend.

And, yes, it is kind of a cliche to post song lyrics... And, yes, I tend to skip them when people do... but I'm about to anyway.

But these sober tears are all that's left to shed
And his soul now made of lead
Face own beneath the rubble lies a man
Tells of a future already in the past
And of himself, well, he hasn't much to say
But wake the gods: it's judgment day
He said I left my home where the dead never rose
For the streets of gold I've yet to find
And at the end of the day all you can do is pray
Without hope, well you might as well be blind,
Yeah, be blind
Tomorrow comes a day to soon
