Oh, look, a shiny thing!

While a lot of people seem to be getting a kick out of this past weekend's movie results (thank you Chappy for the "Jesus Battles Zombies at U.S. Box Office" comment), few realize how inevitable it was.

You see, the American public has a fascination with resurrection, good or bad. We spent three weeks watching Jesus rise from the dead to save us. Last week, however, we watched hordes rise from the dead to destroy us.
